DVORSZKY ANIKÓ - TAKÁCS MÁRIA: BIG CITY PHOBIAS

They are in a hurry, run from place to place, not caring for their fellow city-dwellers. In this rush, they don't find joys, don't even look for them, but rather have a life full of worries.

What are they afraid of?
-the cranes above newly built buildings. Tons hanging over their heads on the other side the weight of the crane.
-in the open, the shadows above their heads, the pigeons, and the disease they spread.
-the foot-swallowing, ankle-ripping sewer covers
-the strangers also waiting for the last metro
-the teeth at the bottom of the escalator
-agoraphobia that gets them in the elevator of big office buildings
-the paternosters that swallow you
-elevators, which give you the impression that they will bust when you step in.

The visitors can watch these fears in a film at the TALK Studio. They can hear the "ones in fear" speak of their everyday traumas, commented by experts. The LIVE Studio would give a chance to face these fears.

The Big City Phobias tries to answer the questions of a humane city, of a livable environment. The growing cities of today have old and new dangers, which give old and new fears to people all over the world. We will have different sides shown of the phobias. Every solution is also a political answer. How can we as one, and as a whole (civil groups, city guidance) find solutions to these problems.
